Local Manager pressing for immediate extension of dollars 10,000,000 on basis 1/3rd coinage cover 2/3rd security cover and Colonial Treasurer supports this. Ponding decision on
currency report I incline to extension of dollars 5,000,000 only on above basis but would agree to dollars 10,000,000 if Currency Committee concurs. I am prepared to accept its advice in matter subject to a limit of dollars 10,000,000.
